Description
โOrganic where it counts โ smart where it matters.โ
This mattress pad is 100% organic cotton where your body touches it. But letโs talk honesty: if we made the whole thing pure cotton โ backing and skirt included โ youโd be calling us in two weeks with shrinkage tears and an aggressively small pad.
Thatโs why the underside and the elastic skirt are made with a bit of polyester. Not a flaw โ a feature. It helps your pad hold its shape, survive the laundry gauntlet, and actually last. No weird crumpling. No corner pop-offs. No shrinkage complaints (we’ve heard them all).
Youโll still get the breathable, soft, organic cotton surface you came for โ just with a little secret weapon underneath to make sure it stays lovely for longer.
Itโs like wearing organic linen with a supportive sports bra underneath. Nobodyโs judging. In fact, we recommend it.

Care Instructions (a.k.a. how not to ruin a good thing):
With proper care, this mattress pad will stick with you for years โ like a loyal dog, but flatter. The manufacturer recommends spot cleaning, hand washing, or dry cleaning if needed.
Now, hereโs the honest bit: itโs cotton, and cotton has a known enemy โ heat. Too hot in the washer or dryer, and youโll find your pad has shrunk faster than a wool jumper in a boiling bath.
Our tip? Cooler is safer. Always wash on gentle, skip the scorching heat, and if you must tumble dry, use low or no heat. Or better yet โ let it air dry with a smug little breeze.
Treat it right, and itโll return the favour every night.
Why polyester in an organic pad?
Because reality exists. Cotton shrinks. A polyester backing and skirt help your mattress pad survive more than one wash. Weโre about longevity, not landfill.
