A supportive 6" Soft, Medium or Firm latex base paired with a separate 3" Super Soft, or Soft latex topper. This allows us to fine-tune both the support underneath you and the comfort on top until we find the combination that feels just right.

Those who prefer a taller mattress profile, have a deeper bed frame, or simply want the additional depth of an 8" solid latex core.

Understanding Latex Firmness
ILD & Density Ratings of Dunlop Latex
ILD and density are two different ways of describing how latex feels and performs. ILD measures how much force is needed to compress the latex, while density describes how much material is packed into a given volume.
The important bit
Higher numbers generally mean firmer, denser latex — but natural latex is not manufactured like perfectly uniform synthetic foam, so some variation in ILD is completely normal.

One more thing: firmer does not automatically mean more supportive. Your body weight, sleeping position and the layers above or below the latex all affect how a mattress feels — which is exactly why we encourage customers to try the different densities before choosing.
