Care Instructions: Wash separately. Cold machine wash on gentle cycle or hand wash. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not soak. Dry without delay. Air regularly and shake to restore loft.

Comparing Wool to Down and Silk: Wool tends to be the “middle ground” — not as puffy as down, but definitely not as flat as silk. The Kouchini All-Season has a medium loft and a nicely cushioned look on the bed, measuring roughly 1.5″–2″ thick. For comparison, down often sits around 2″–4″, while silk is usually closer to 1″–1.5″.

It can look a touch denser because Kouchini “fulls” the wool — a pre-treatment that makes it more durable and more wash-friendly while remaining organic and chemical-free — so it holds its shape very well over time.

Thermal Overall Grade (TOG): You may start to see this rating system on the internet to measure thermal resistance. That is, how well a wool duvets filling protects against heat.

1 to 4.5 TOG: Ideal for warm summer nights.
