Soft, breathable, and properly well made, our Contempo Organic Luxury Sheets are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton in a smooth 300 thread count sateen. If you’re after organic cotton sheets that feel lovely, wash well, and don’t charge you extra just for saying “organic,” these are hard to beat.

Why do you wrap organic cotton sheets in plastic? Isn’t that a bit wasteful?

We hear you — and, frankly, we’d rather not.

Originally, the sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases arrived in their own reusable organic cotton fabric covers. Unfortunately, we started receiving complaints that those covers were getting scuffed or marked during their journey from the manufacturer, to the supplier, and then on to our warehouse.

In other words, the cover needed a cover.

So now the organic cotton cover is protected by an outer plastic sleeve. Not ideal, we know, but apparently the alternative was complaints about the packaging looking less than pristine.

We did briefly consider putting an organic cover over the organic cover over the organic sheets, but at that point we realised this was bedding, not Pass the Parcel.
