WARNING! Athena Duvet Covers have gone through a change. The duvet cover did have a 2 ¾” flanged border. It has been changed now to have a 1″ border. As stock gets replaced we will not know which one you will get. This would not be ground for a return once opened.
What the heck is a flange border?
A Flanged Border is decorative strip of fabric that runs around edge or edges of bedding. It can give a more finished or formal look or be used to blow your nose at night 🙂
A flange on a duvet cover can increase the overall size of the cover as the 2 ¾” is not included in the measurements. This can be beneficial if you are working with a thicker mattress. It can also be a hinderance if you have a lower bed and the duvet cover is touching the ground. Let’s play Flange Roulette together, it’ll be fun.
Care Instructions
- Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent in gentle cycle.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry on low and remove promptly
