Directions (How to Keep a Stiff Upper Rod)
Measure the width of your shower opening. (A little planning never hurt anyone.)
Twist to extend the rod until itβs about 3″ wider than the opening β confident, but not reckless.
Lift it to your desired height, compress it into place between the walls, then release.
Twist again to fine-tune the fit until itβs snug, secure, and holding firm like a true professional.
Give it a gentle test. If it slips, add another small twist. If it doesnβtβ¦ congratulations. Youβve achieved proper rod stability.
**Tension rods need snug walls to grip. If your tile is uneven, we recommend adjusting slowly and testing the hold.
