Made for mattresses that run a little longer. And yes — this can be a clever “close-enough” option for many standard doubles too. That extra length usually just means more tuck (which, honestly, is rarely a bad thing).

3/4 Size (or just Twin?)

The unsung hero of the bedding world. 3/4 beds show up in older homes, guest rooms, daybeds, and the occasional “this bed came with the house and now we’re committed” situation. If your mattress is not quite a Twin and not quite a Double, this is often the Goldilocks fit. Can also work on a Twin with extra tuck 🙂
